Last night J had his VJ debut as part of Dusk and Blackdown’s live show. It was really rich, textured and had an amazing energy.  When I upload more photos to flickr, I’ll link to them here.

Yesterday, I wandered down to Hoxton Square on my way to pick up my forgotten mobile at work. I was wowed by the beautiful white sculptured orchids in the square by Marc Quinn (visit this site!) Then was amazed by the colourful oil paintings of them in White Cube Gallery.  These gorgeous, provocative paintings against the classical marble statues of transformed and in other cases transgendered bodies was rather amuzing.
I’m still thinking about it. Must be worth a visit. I recommend.

Most of us wouldn’t think much of a sinkful of stubble, but Brock reached for a toothpick and came up with this self portrait.  Crafty!

It’s actually hard to believe it is real.  Amazing

For the last weekend of May, we travelled to Bordeaux, France. We spent a day riding through the vineyards of the Medoc, stopping at chateaus to drink wine, eat cheese and listen to music. Awww - the life!
